It is placed under the wedge, allowing the wedge to be centred and offering a larger support surface. This is very important, especially in delicate formats.

When using it, the tool scale must be increased by 3 mm.

The Wedbe base allows to work in thicknesses of 3 to 5 mm. It can be used both in thicknesses of less than 5 mm (with ceramic wedge) and in thicknesses between 16 and 19 mm (with stone wedge).
